For RVT candidates taking both the ARDMS Vascular Technology specialty exam and the Sonography Principles and Instruments (SPI) exam, here is the most powerful, convenient, and inexpensive way to prepare. And it works: More than 90% of our customers pass on their first attempt. RVS candidates taking their CCI exams also benefit. This discounted bundle includes Claudia Rumwell and Micky McPharlin's famously effective review text that explains and illustrates exactly what you need to know to pass the exam, silver-bullet style, including the sometimes less familiar indirect physiological tests. It also covers the physics portion of the exam—both ultrasound physics and vascular-specific physical principles—that unnecessarily intimidates many candidates. The two CD-ROM mock exams—one for the VT exam and one for the SPI exam—ensure confident performance by providing baseline and progress analyses, timed practice, clear explanations, references, tutorials, an image gallery, and immediate identification of the candidate's strengths and weaknesses. Click on product images for more information. If you would prefer a download rather than a CD, please call our office for details.
Vascular Technology: An Illustrated Review 5th Edition is the completely revised, updated, and significantly expanded edition of Claudia Rumwell and Michalene McPharlin's popular step-by-step vascular review of all noninvasive diagnostic modalities, both imaging and physiologic. Full-color illustrations, ample sonographic images, and bulleted lists concisely encapsulate everything you need to know to pass the ARDMS Physicians' Vascular Interpretation or Vascular Technology exam or CCI's RVS exam to secure your RPVI, RVT, or RVS credential confidently and efficiently. The 5th edition covers indications, physical principles, interpretation, performance issues that affect interpretation, protocols and pitfalls, and the fine points on which you will be tested. This revised edition includes new and detailed full-color illustrations, duplex and color flow images, Doppler waveforms, plethysmographic charts, photo-documented physiologic exam techniques and interpretations, selected angiograms, new self-assessment exercises, and an integral application for 15 hours of SDMS-approved CME credit.
The Vascular Technology Interactive Mock Exam contains 665 questions and answers in ARDMS format, 136 image-based cases, clear and concise explanations, page-specific references for further study, tutorials on key topics in Study & Learn mode, real-time video, timer and automatic performance analysis in Test Mode, and continuously variable and randomized selection of Q&A items from the complete content database so you don't inadvertently memorize the Q&A items by their order instead of understanding the underlying principles, facts, and formulas you must know to pass the exam. Each test is different. Coverage includes vascular-specific physical principles and concepts, Doppler, indications, exam performance, and interpretation criteria. Approved by SVU for 15 hours CME credit, this product proves an exceptionally versatile study and testing tool with option for CME credit.
If you would prefer a download rather than a CD, please call our office for details.
The Ultrasound Physics Interactive Mock Exam: SPI Edition utilizes both Study and Learn and Test modes and is charged with hundreds of questions, image-based cases, references, and automatic performance analysis for fast and easy baseline and progress scoring. Formatted to simulate the latest ARDMS SPI physics exam, this mock exam covers exactly what you need to know to pass. In Test Mode, questions are drawn from the entire onboard database of 600 Q&A items in a randomized, continuously variable matter. In Study & Learn mode, you get instant feedback when you answer a question—answer, explanation, reference, and available tutorials and additional explanatory illustrations. SDMS-approved for 15 hours CME credit.
If you would prefer a download rather than a CD, please call our office for details.
Compare the price, content, features, and convenience of this and other bundles to the costly blur of a weekend seminar or the inefficiency of unguided preparation.
