A convenient, cost-effective alternative to expensive seminars! Our most comprehensive RPVI bundle offers a money-saving solution to exam preparation without compromising on quality or quantity. Including some of our most sought-after materials, this package provides the comprehensive PVI prep and interactive self-testing materials found in our more basic bundles as well as expert resources for reference long after you have passed your exam. While it covers all of the diagnostic modalities on the PVI exam, including the sometimes less familiar indirect physiological tests, it also covers the physics portion of the exam—both ultrasound physics and vascular-specific physical principles—that unnecessarily intimidates many candidates. The CD-ROM mock exams ensure confident performance by providing baseline and progress analyses, timed practice, clear explanations, references, tutorials, an image gallery, and immediate identification of the candidate's strengths and weaknesses. Utilize the illustrated review for quick, concise study, and the go-to vascular reference text by Pellerito for a more in-depth analysis of vascular ultrasound. And the DVDs are great tools for physicians who require additional exposure to the techniques and interpretation of abdominal vascular sonography and venous imaging. Vascular Technology: An Illustrated Review 5th Edition is the completely revised, updated, and significantly expanded edition of Claudia Rumwell and Michalene McPharlin's popular step-by-step vascular review of all noninvasive diagnostic modalities, both imaging and physiologic. Full-color illustrations, ample sonographic images, and bulleted lists concisely encapsulate everything you need to know to pass the ARDMS Physicians' Vascular Interpretation or Vascular Technology exam or CCI's RVS exam to secure your RPVI, RVT, or RVS credential confidently and efficiently. The 5th edition covers indications, physical principles, interpretation, performance issues that affect interpretation, protocols and pitfalls, and the fine points on which you will be tested. This revised edition includes new and detailed full-color illustrations, duplex and color flow images, Doppler waveforms, plethysmographic charts, photo-documented physiologic exam techniques and interpretations, selected angiograms, new self-assessment exercises, and an integral application for 15 hours of SDMS-approved CME credit.
The Vascular Technology CD-ROM Mock Exam contains 665 questions and answers in ARDMS format, 136 image-based cases, clear and concise explanations, page-specific references for further study, tutorials on key topics in Study & Learn mode, real-time video, timer and automatic performance analysis in Test Mode, and continuously variable and randomized selection of Q&A items from the complete content database. Coverage includes vascular-specific physical principles and concepts, Doppler, indications, and interpretation. Approved by the SVU for 15 hours CME credit, this product proves an exceptionally versatile study and testing tool with option for CME credit.
The Ultrasound Physics CD-ROM Mock Exam: SPI Edition utilizes both Study and Learn and Test modes and is charged with hundreds of questions, image-based cases, references, and automatic performance analysis for fast and easy baseline and progress scoring. Formatted to simulate the new ARDMS SPI physics exam, this mock exam covers exactly what you need to know to pass the ultrasound physics portion of the PVI exam. In Test Mode, questions are drawn from the entire onboard database of 600 Q&A items in a randomized, continuously variable matter. SDMS-approved for 15 hours CME credit.
In the Techniques of Abdominal Vascular Sonography DVD, Marsha Neumyer guides you through the most technically challenging of the vascular applications with excellent visual direction and diagnostic imagery. Coverage includes the visceral vascular anatomy, the normal and abnormal ultrasonographic appearance of the abdominal and visceral vasculature, the hemodynamics of the visceral vasculature, including the hepatoportal, mesenteric, and renal circulatory systems, the pitfalls of abdominal vascular sonography, and solutions to diagnostic dilemmas. The information obtained by abdominal vascular sonography can play a major role in the diagnostic algorithms for a number of presenting complaints and conditions. This DVD is an important training, continuing education, and registry preparation resource for the physicians who direct and interpret these studies and the technologists who perform them.
Steve Talbot's Venous Imaging Techniques is the single best ultrasound DVD we have seen. A perfectly paced, wonderfully produced 75-minute exposition of technique and interpretation in both the upper and lower extremities, it illustrates protocols, offers solutions to common and unusual problems of performance and interpretation, demonstrates how to identify and characterize thrombus, explains how to differentiate venous thrombosis from conditions that mimic it, and discusses the respective roles of color flow imaging, gray-scale imaging, and Doppler interrogation. An excellent resource for RPVI candidates and the vascular lab.
Introduction to Vascular Ultrasonography 6th Edition is the comprehensive go-to standard for vascular professionals. This newest edition reviews everything vascular beginning with the basics and covering the roles of noninvasive studies, anatomy, exam technique, and interpretation for each of the peripheral vascular subsystems—cerebral, arterial, venous, and abdominal vascular. SDMS-approved for 10 hours optional CME credit. It is a powerful reference resource for any lab tech or physician.

These six products combine cross-platform software and DVDs together with an illustrated review and the go-to vascular reference text at a big discount. A great bundle for both the PVI candidate and his or her colleagues. The multiuser optional CME components add exceptional value.
